A Bit About Me

My name is Camila Mora and I am currently studying at the University of Michigan studying business administration at the Ross School of Business, and a minor in writing.  I am also bilingual in English and in Spanish, as I am a dual citizen from the United States and Costa Rica.  I am passionate about bringing my multicultural upbringing and creativity to make a positive impact in the world, both in the business world and in my passions, just like these projects.

Educational and Work Experience

St. Viator High School

University of Michigan

Future Endeavors

This is where I went to high school.  This place is located in Arlington Heights, IL. and taught me so much about writing and journalism. You can find more of my written pieces in the Viator Voice website of my time when I was just a writer in the newspaper and also when I was an editor!

As I said, I am currently a business student with a minor in writing.  Throughout my time here, I have been able to do many things such as: 1. Be in LSWA and have a piece published this year, 2. Create my own club at the Ross School of Business about entrepreneurship!

As a business student, I am always looking to improve both professionally and personally.  One of the ways I am looking to improve professionally is networking and internships and I am excited to do so! The other way, personally, I would like to fulfill with writing and the arts as those are my passions!

My background!

Boca Raton, Florida

Barrington, Illinois

Ann Arbor, Michigan

I was born in Boca Raton, Florida and was raised there until I was in fifth grade.  Throughout my time here, I would spend a lot of time dancing and going to school.  I would also go to Costa Rica, where my family is from, very frequently.

In sixth grade, I moved to Barrington, IL, which is around 45 minutes away from Chicago (without traffic) because of a job opportunity that my father had.  Here, I spent all of my middle school and high school years exploring passions such as DEI, the arts, and marketing. I also made my own club in high school about multiculturalism and made an impact at school!

Now, I am in Ann Arbor for college.  I am in my second year and am hoping to have a focus in marketing, along with my business major and writing minor.  I am very excited to continue my career in college and working with amazing people with all different types of backgrounds!
