Life and its Goodbyes
This story is a story that is dedicated to my niece, specifically, as she is still navigating her experience with death and understanding what that means. This story is about a girl who loves her cat very much, but one day her cat passes away and needs to navigate her grief and what everything means. I hope that this story, not only to my niece, but to other children who need to see that other people also go through grief at their age reaches them and helps them understand that it will be okay.
Growing Apart to a New Start
This story is dedicated to my niece and nephews. When they were younger, their parents divorced and it was hard for them to get used to this new environment with them not living with their parents in the same place everyday. I hope that a story like this helps children understand that it is not their fault that their parents divorced and that it's okay to feel what they're feeling.
The Art of a Fresh Start
This story is about moving away from their first home. I actually am thinking about this story from something that I experienced when I was younger. I want children to understand that this new journey may be difficult, but that there are so many wonderful things that will come and it is just a matter of adaptation at first. This does not mean that their emotions are invalid. I hope this helps them navigate them!
