My Origin Story is an essay that I wrote last year right after my brother passed away in October. I was really wondering what happened after death especially since it was the first time someone so close to me had passed away. So here, I researched different theories of what happens after death and situations where end-of-life patients spoke about their experiences, which was very interesting to me. Then, I spoke about my own experience and the hopes that I have for people around me and my brother who passed away.
Why I made these stories
I wrote these stories originally for the people who are close to me.
Specifically, for the "Life and Its Goodbyes" story, I was thinking about my 11-year-old niece and what I hoped she knew when she was 10, when her father passed away. From this, I started to think about other children and put myself in their shoes for these difficult situations. After several research, I am continuing to write more of these stories to help children who are also vulnerable to difficult experiences.

I dedicate these books to my niece, nephews, parents, brothers, and my entire family, whom have gone through so many things in the past few years. I hope that these stories bring peace and happy memories! Love you!
